Our training is based on the latest biomechanical, physiological, and methodological development stages. Apart from tennis-specific technical and tactical skills, we put emphasis on the improvement of physical abilities such as endurance, power, stamina, quickness, agility, reactivity, elasticity etc., not to mention the cognitive and social competence. Every player follows an individual annual program based on a variety of aspects regarding the conditional preparation, the regeneration periods as well as the competitive phases. In addition to these fundamental skills, however, we commit ourselves to 10 standard principles of professional tennis coaching.
10 Principles
Training in a competent team
Tennis Zone International stands for top-level tennis, since this is the field in which our head coaches and their team have been working successfully for many years: Werner Eschauer, former Davis Cup and ATP Top 52 player, shares his wide experience with up-and-coming juniors and future pros; Roland Berger passes on all the knowledge of a successful career as a coach of numerous professional players (like, for instance, Werner Eschauer, top ATP ranking 52). Thus, every athlete of Tennis Zone International benefits from the profound know-how and practical skills of professionals when it comes to climb the ladder from Future and Challenger tournaments up to the ATP Tour and Grand Slams.
Quarterly examination of physical condition and progress
In cooperation with the Therapeutic Center Weinburg, headed by the renowned sport scientist Walter Hable, we conduct quarterly check-ups of the ahtletes' physical condition. This enables us to monitor the progress and detect and correct deficits. The assessments focus on the basic motor skills such as quickness, flexibility, power, stamina and endurance as well as coordinative abilities.
